We first crossed paths during our second year of dental school. Our first year was during COVID, so the class was divided into two groups, and we didn’t interact much. But by the second year, we started hanging out with mutual friends, especially at our weekly Taco Tuesday outings. One night, everyone else canceled, and it ended up just being the two of us. That unplanned evening turned into our first date, and from there, everything just fell into place!"

We were spending Christmas in Chandler's hometown, Huntsville, Alabama. I had just finished my dental boards, and to celebrate, Chandler made us a brunch reservation. When we arrived, the hostess told us we were a bit early and suggested we come back later. So, we decided to take a walk through a nearby park filled with beautifully themed Christmas trees.

A fun fact about me—I love making itineraries for every trip we take. As we reached the bottom of the park’s stairs, Chandler handed me an itinerary titled 'Liz's Day Itinerary,' with details like '11:00 am: Fake Brunch, 11:10 am: Proposal.' By the time I finished reading the word 'proposal,' Chandler was down on one knee!"
